Amazon Prime, the premium service offering two day shipping and discounted prices on countless goods, is now offering 10 cents off to Prime members on gasoline purchases, through one of its latest member programs.

To access this offer, one must be a Prime member and then download the free app Earnify and create an account. You can also go to amazon.com/fuelsavings

Currently, the offer is only available at participating Amoco, BP, or AM/PM gasoline stations.

To sign up for Amazon Prime you can go to Amazon’s website or download the free app and click on “Try Prime” to get a 30-day free trial. Thereafter, membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 annually.

Once your Prime and Earnify accounts are activated, you can use the Earnify store locator to find a participating station near you.

At the pump, you can input your phone number or linked payment method, or go to the Earnify app to select the station and pump you are using.

Jamil Ghani, Vice President of Amazon, said, “We always look at where we can be of value to members and every time we ask… what would make Prime even more valuable for them, it’s fuel savings.”

On average, the company projects Prime members can save about $70 on gas fill ups over 20 months with the discount.

Amazon Prime has more than 200 million members worldwide and membership offers free shipping on more than 300 million items. Prime was first launched in 2005.

Other features of the Prime membership include free shipping on Amazon, Prime Video, Amazon Music, Amazon Photos, and discounts at Whole Foods, Amazon Fresh, GrubHub+ and savings on medical care and prescription drugs.

Jeff Bezos - one of the richest people on the planet - worth an estimated $224 billion founded the rapidly growing online service.
